Mostly known for organizing the local Open Studios tour, (TVAST) every year in May. Also connects with local businesses to display Art. Offers free online gallery space for members and keeps tabs on local events, including Calls for Art.
A new organization in a young community that is already influencing the City and Institutions in the area. A great chance to get involved in something in its early stages.
Livermore Art Association provides support on many levels: they have a Gallery, a member show that runs only for a weekend but features hundreds of artworks,, and they were the first in the area to manage an online store.
A well-established organization that hosts shows, member shows, Plein Air competitions, Scholarship programs, and more.
We paint locally: within a bike ride of our homes. These folks will travel a bit further and even reserve ahead or pay to paint on some of the most beautiful gardens and parks in the area.
Nancy Roberts, the goddess of landscape painting, helps drive this group. They paint anywhere and usually on Thursdays.
